About Dr
Er. Dr. Raju is a Civil and Geotechnical Engineering expert with over 30 years of professional experience leading design and business management across Asia and Europe. During his tenure at a major international consulting firm, he was responsible for the strategy and growth of the transportation and infrastructure business across the India and Europe regions.
He brings a rare combination of strong management expertise and deep technical knowledge across infrastructure and built-environment sectors, with notable connections across construction industry, academia, and government in the emerging markets of Asia.
Dr Raju has extensive experience in rail transit projects, including the Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad metros in India; and the Downtown Line Phase 1, Circle Line stages, North-East Line C708, Changi Airport Line, and Bukit Panjang LRT in Singapore. His broader transport and building work includes the Common Services Tunnel, Cable Tunnel, Deep Sewerage Tunnel, Kallang/Paya Lebar Expressway, One Raffles Quay and Capital Tower in Singapore, and the Mumbai Coastal Road in India.
At Tri-State Design and Development he leads the firm's strategic direction following its integration into the Acela group, building on the firm's 40-year Western Pennsylvania foundation and connecting the Pittsburgh practice to Acela's wider network of technology, infrastructure, and consulting capability.
